Import a PGP key

When you wish to send an encrypted message to somebody, you must have their public key. This tutorial shows you how to import a PGP key to your PGP keyring quickly & simply.

1. Click Pecunix.WinPT icon on your desktop to start Pecunix WinPT, (notice that the key should appear in the lower right of your task bar at bottom of screen.)

2. Open the document that contains the PGP Key, (your email, word doc, or whatever type of document contains your PGP key)

3. Once document open, Click Edit & Select All

4. Click Edit & then Click Copy

5. Right Click on the key icon in lower right task bar, Click Clipboard & then Click Decrypt/Verify

6. Click on the PGP Key

7. Click Import

8. Click OK

9. Click Key on menu bar

10. Click Reload Keycache

11. The PGP key has been loaded

12. Click File on menu bar

13. Close window
