Installing WinPT and GPG

This tutorial shows you how to install the Pecunix distribution of WinPT and GPG. Tutorials are available at: http://pecunix.com/money.refined...edu.welcome

1. Download the winpt-gpg.exe file from http://pecunix.com/money.refined...dld.welcome

2. Click on the file winpt-gpg.exe

3. Click Unzip and click OK

4. You will then notice a file called Pecunix on your desktop.

5. You can now delete the winpt-gpg.exe file.

6. Double click the Pecunix folder to open it.

7. Double click the setup.exe file

8. Click Unzip and click OK

9. Right click the Pecunix WinPT file and send it to the Desktop.

10. Double click the Pecunix WinPT file and click yes.

11. You will now be asked to enter the information required for you to generate your PGP key.

12. In the Subkey length (bits) write 1024.

13. Fill in the rest of the details.

14. Before you go any further, get an empty floppy disk and write the password on the front of it.

15. Click start and wait till the key is generated.

16. When finished Click OK and click Yes

17. Put the floppy disk into the floppy drive and select Floppy (A:) in the save in: box.

18. Write pubring in the File Name: and click Save

19. Write secring in the File Name: and click Save

20. Very Important: Store this Floppy disk in a very safe place. Warning: This is not for daily use, it is your insurance if you lose your keys or forget your password. Never leave this disk where some one else could find it.
