Verify a PGP signed message

Learn how to verify PGP signed messages. This tutorial will show you how to verify that a message signed with PGP is authentic.

1. Click Pecunix.WinPT icon on your desktop to start Pecunix WinPT, (notice that the key should appear in the lower right of your task bar at bottom of screen.)

2. Open the document that contains the message signed with PGP

3. Click on the signed message

4. Click Edit, then Click Select All

5. Click Edit, then Click Copy

6. Right Click mouse and then Click Clipboard, Click Decrypt/Verify

7. If the 'signature is good', continue and Click OK, if not, someone may have tampered with the message. Ask the owner of the key to send it again.
